That stretch job on a curved staircase took me 6 hours and I still see the ripple
Ngl, I took a curved stair runner job in Portland last Tuesday thinking my power stretcher would handle it like a straight hallway. The radius near the top landing kept fighting me, and I burned a full day on demo and retries before I got the pile direction to stop shifting. Has anyone else found a trick for keeping the backing from creeping on tight curves, or is this just the price of doing fancy work?
