My spin brush gearbox locked up on a big job this morning
Was working a 3-flue clean over on Maple Street, about halfway through the second flue when I heard a grinding noise. The spin brush just stopped spinning. Pulled it out and found the gearbox was completely seized, grease all baked and hardened. Now I gotta tear it apart and rebuild it tonight. Anyone else had this issue with the older SpinSweep models?

Did you try turning it off and on again or is that just for computers?

lol honestly I've tried turning stuff off and on so many times that my microwave probably thinks its a toaster by now. One time I restarted my fridge because the ice maker was making weird noises and my wife was like "what are you doing" and I said "it's the universal fix babe" and she just walked away shaking her head. Even did it to my car once when the check engine light came on. Turned the engine off and on and yeah no that did not work at all. We need a support group for people who think rebooting everything is the answer.
