A guy at a print shop in Cleveland crumpled my first draft in front of me and it stuck
I brought a 12 page brochure into a small shop on Superior Ave about six months ago, feeling pretty good about it. The owner flipped through it for maybe 30 seconds and then literally crumpled page 3 and tossed it on the counter. He said "this page tells me nothing new, why is it here?" I was mad for a whole week. Then I counted the pages again and realized he was right, we had padded the thing to hit a page count the customer asked for. Now I print every draft at home and hold it in my hands before I send it to anyone. How do you all catch padding before a client does?
