The "quick tweak" that turned into a 14-hour rewrite session

Had a client in Austin send over a short paragraph saying they just wanted the headline font "slightly bolder," then after 6 PM they dumped 40 pages of new content and expected it live by morning. They ignored all my scope warnings and acted shocked when I quoted extra hours, has anyone else had a last-minute content dump like this?

Charge them a rush fee upfront next time, that weeds out the cheap clients fast. The 6 PM dump is a power move, they know you're stuck and hoping you'll fold. Put a hard cut-off time in your contract, anything after 4 PM waits till tomorrow, period.
