Why does nobody talk about clients who ask for unlimited revisions
I had a client last month who wanted a simple logo redesign and they kept asking for tiny changes over and over again. After the third round of tweaks I told them we'd need to start charging by the hour. They got all defensive and said they thought graphic design included unlimited revisions. I actually lost 6 hours of my life on that project for a flat fee of $150. Does anyone else just walk away when a client drops the word "unlimited" during the first meeting?

You ever have one of those experiences that completely flips your thinking? I used to be the guy saying "sure, revisions are included" because I thought it showed good customer service. But after a similar situation where a client kept asking me to move a text box two pixels left, then two pixels right, over and over, I realized I was just giving away my time for free. Now I spell out exactly how many revisions are included in the flat fee, and anything after that gets billed hourly. It stops those endless tweaks before they start.

Two pixels left and right, oof, that sounds brutal.
