Rant: a client in Austin ripped apart my whole portfolio in one email and she was right
Last month a client I'd been pitching in Austin sent back my portfolio with a note that said my case studies were "all pretty pictures and zero proof," which stung because it was true. Every project had a nice mockup and not one line about what actually happened after launch, so I went back and added plain numbers to 6 case studies, like signups and bounce rate before and after. Took me two weekends and felt like pulling teeth, but the next pitch I sent out got a reply in a day. Now I keep a running note of client results as they happen instead of trying to remember them later. Curious if anyone else here got called out on their portfolio like that and what you changed first.
