Hit my 500th native plant this weekend and the numbers finally clicked
After 4 years of swapping lawn for wildflowers in my Pittsburgh backyard, I planted number 500 on Saturday and realized that tiny patch now absorbs about 8,000 gallons of stormwater a year, so has anyone else seen a real measurable impact from their own small plot?

My yard measures impact too, mostly in mud my dog tracks inside.
