Noticed something interesting at the farmers market last Sunday
I was at the downtown farmers market here in Austin last weekend and saw this one booth selling local honey. The guy said he's been keeping bees for 3 years now and his hives have actually been doing better since the city started planting more native wildflowers along the greenbelts. He told me it's not just about cutting emissions, it's about giving nature a hand where we can. Made me wonder if small local efforts like that add up more than we think.

Is it really that deep for a jar of honey?

Wow, that's actually a really cool story. I mean, I've been helping out with a community garden in my neighborhood for a couple years now, and honestly, the little things we do really do seem to add up. Like we just planted some milkweed for the monarchs and suddenly we're seeing way more bees and butterflies around the whole block. It's not some big grand plan, just people doing small stuff where they can. That honey guy sounds like he's onto something for sure.
