My hard drive died at 2am with 4 client files open, so do you rebuild from scratch or dig through old exports?

My buddy Dave went through this last spring and spent 11 hours rebuilding from scratch, only to find out his old exports were sitting in a Dropbox folder the whole time. Check every cloud folder and old laptop before you start typing anything.
