Spent $85 on a cheap color meter and it just saved a 400 print run
I print a lot of flyers for local bands and my cyan kept coming out way too green on this run, so I finally grabbed a used X-Rite meter off Facebook Marketplace for $85. Took me about 20 minutes to figure out the software but it showed my cyan was sitting at like 12 points off target. Fixed my profile and the whole batch matched the proof, so I didn't have to eat the cost of 400 ruined sheets. What's everyone else using to check color, or are you all just eyeballing it and hoping?
