The difference between 300 DPI and 150 DPI showed up in a 4x6 print I did last night
Been printing photos at home for years and always just used whatever default my software picked. Then I tried a 150 DPI file for a small 4x6 and compared it side by side with a true 300 DPI file from the same original. The edges on the 150 looked soft, like someone smeared the letters on a sign in the background. Zoomed in on my phone and you could see the pixel squares plain as day. Where does the line actually matter for small prints versus big posters? Has anyone else found that 200 DPI is fine for certain paper types or am I just getting lucky?
