Spent $340 on a home CMYK ink mixing kit and my colors came out muddy every single time
I dropped $340 on one of those DIY ink mixing starter kits back in March because I was tired of paying my local print shop in Portland $65 a run just to hit a specific teal. I followed the mixing guide, weighed everything on a $30 scale, and still ended up with a muddy greenish brown on 11 straight test prints. Has anyone actually made a home mixing setup work, or am I just burning cash trying to be my own ink lab?
