DAE get burned by a proof on a glossy sheet at the Peoria print expo?
I was at the PrintExpo in Peoria last month and a vendor handed me a proof on glossy stock, and the navy I picked looked deep and clean. When the job came back on uncoated paper it looked like faded denim, way lighter than the proof. Turns out the paper soaked up more ink and shifted the whole ramp. Now I ask for a proof on the actual stock, even if it costs me an extra $40 and a day of waiting. Has anyone found a cheaper way to catch this before the press run?
