The day I stopped trusting the prepress guy’s 100% black claim
After a 300 sheet run of business cards came back with muddy gray text instead of crisp black, I checked the file and found my rich black mix had been flattened to plain K by a helper who swore it was the same thing, and now I want to know who else has had a shop quietly alter their separations without asking.
