My client's dark green logo came out army brown on 250 tote bags from a printer in Fresno
Three weeks ago I sent a dark green brand color to a screen printer in Fresno without checking the CMYK values, just grabbed the hex code off the client's website and called it good. Got the proof back and the green looked like mud, so the printer told me my file was RGB and they had to guess when converting for the plastisol ink. Now I owe this client a reprint and I have no idea if I should be converting everything to CMYK myself or trusting the printer's software, so what do you all do before sending art for screen printing?
