Why did my dark blue print turn purple after a month in the window?
I printed a batch of 40 posters for a shop in Cleveland back in March, all using a rich CMYK blue with 60% cyan and 40% magenta. After they sat in the south-facing window for about five weeks, that blue shifted to a muddy purple I didn't expect. Could the UV exposure be fading the cyan faster than the magenta, or should I have pushed more black into the mix instead?
