Just blew $400 on a 'universal' tool holder that wrecked my finish
The sales rep swore it would fit my older Haas mill, but the runout was terrible from day one. Had to scrap a batch of 50 aluminum brackets before I caught it. Anyone know a solid brand for BT30 holders that won't lie to you?

Was that the one with the weird double-angle collet design? I remember a machinist at my old shop saying those can be a nightmare to get seated right, even if they claim to be universal. He swore by MariTool for BT30 stuff, said their runout specs were always dead on.
