Old timer told me to run 4 spring passes on a thin wall part and I ignored him
Boss said I was wasting cycle time, then the part bowed 0.015 on the last pass and we scrapped 30 of them in one shift. Anyone got a rule of thumb for when a spring pass actually pays off?
