Am I the only one who started with Python instead of JavaScript, and now wonders what could have been?

Man, my buddy went through the exact same thing. He learned Python first, then spent a whole weekend trying to build a website and kept getting stuck because every tutorial out there was in JavaScript. He ended up learning both and now he says Python taught him how to think through problems, which made picking up JS way easier.
