Warning: I paid $12 for a rubber duck and it saved my code more times than I can count
My buddy handed me a little rubber duck at a meetup in Portland and said explain your code to it when you get stuck, and I laughed, but I tried it the next night on a loop bug and said every line out loud to the duck and spotted the missing counter in about ten minutes. Now the duck sits on my monitor and my wife thinks I am losing it. Does anyone else do the duck thing, or is there a trick that works even better?
