Warning: I thought freeCodeCamp was overhyped, then I actually finished the first 20 hours
I kept seeing people say freeCodeCamp was the best free place to learn, and I figured it was just internet hype, so I sat on the idea for a while. Finally last Tuesday I opened the responsive web design cert and knocked out the first few modules in about 3 hours total. The part that got me was the little tests it runs on your code, because it actually told me when my HTML was broken instead of me staring at a blank screen guessing. I'm not saying it's perfect, the pace is slow in spots and I skipped a bunch of the videos. But for zero dollars and no signup games, it does more than the $40 course I bought on sale a while back. Has anyone made it through the whole cert, and does it get harder or stay this beginner friendly?
