Can we talk about picking navy blue vs black for a client's gym logo?
Client wanted a dark logo for their gym in Phoenix and I had to pick between navy blue and black, so I went navy since black felt too harsh against their gray wall. Turned out navy tanked the contrast on their merch, and a buddy of mine pointed out it looked almost black anyway on the dark tees, so I basically got the worst of both. Should I have just gone with pure black from the start, or is there a better dark color that actually holds up on both screens and fabric?
Honestly this sounds like a lot of fuss over a gym logo, most people walking in aren't studying the shade of blue on a t-shirt. Pick one, print the shirts, and move on to the next job.
