Tbh, I just found some old forum signatures I made and the light text on light backgrounds is painful to look at now.

Oh man, that unlocked a memory. I used to think yellow text on an orange background was a great, sunny choice for my blog. This was before dark mode was even a thing, but man, it was basically just a solid beige block. You had to highlight it to read anything. I guess we all learn about contrast the hard way.
