Vent: Stuck between a client's vision and readable text

Was putting together a flyer for a community event. They loved this soft yellow on beige for the main info. I checked the contrast and it barely passed for some, but failed for others. Had to argue that pretty colors aren't worth excluding people.

They actually picked soft yellow on beige for important info? That combo is known for being hard to read, even if it passes some tests. You're right to push back so everyone can read it.

I can't believe they went with soft yellow on beige for key details. @aaron_kim46 is spot on, that combo strains your eyes even if it looks nice on paper. We gotta push for better contrast so no one misses out.
