My app's colors looked fine on my laptop but terrible on my phone
I was showing a friend my new app design at a coffee shop in Portland, and the bright orange buttons I picked looked totally washed out on his phone screen. I had only tested on my own monitor, which had different color settings. How do you make sure your palette works across different devices?

Learn from my mistake... I once designed a whole site in a dim room and it looked radioactive in daylight.
