Spent $45 on a color wheel guide from a local art shop and it’s been useless for digital work

I grabbed a physical color wheel thinking it would help me pick palettes for my app design, but it’s just for paint mixing and has been sitting in my drawer all month, so has anyone found a digital tool that actually works for screen colors?

What specifically about screen colors is tripping you up? Like are you having trouble with contrast, or matching brands, or just straight up picking colors that look good together on a monitor?

Actually, isn't it way more simple than people make it? Matching colors on a screen is basically pointless if your monitor isn't calibrated in the first place. Most folks just buy a cheap monitor and then blame the software when everything looks off. If you're serious about colors, you invest in a decent screen and a calibration tool, not ask the internet for advice. Also, half the time the problem is just that people have their brightness cranked to max or some dumb "gaming mode" turned on that makes everything look like a neon sign.
