The print shop guy in Boise mixed my navy wrong twice, then taught me more than any color book
I brought a job to Kinko's on Fairview in Boise last month and the guy behind the counter, Marcus, mixed my navy 15% too purple on the first test print. He didn't just redo it, he pulled out a Pantone book and showed me why my screen was lying to me under their fluorescent lights. We got it dialed in on the third try and now I check every color under two light sources before I send anything out. Has anyone else had a print tech catch something your monitor hid from you?
