Can we talk about the red door on that building in Portland

I was walking through the Pearl District last Tuesday and saw this one bright red door on an otherwise all gray concrete building. It stood out so much that I started thinking about how we use accent colors in real spaces, not just on screens. One side of me thinks it's a genius move, drawing the eye exactly where the architect wanted. The other side wonders if it's just a lazy trick that covers up a boring facade. Has anyone else seen a single accent color in a public space that either made or broke the whole design for you?
