My apartment paint looked muddy until I stopped matching the wall color
For like 3 years I picked trim paint by eyeballing it against the wall, but everything came out grayish. Then my sister pointed out that my warm beige wall made the cool white trim look dirty, so I grabbed a warm cream instead. Anyone else forget that the paint's undertone has to fight the wall's undertone, not match it?
