My client's logo turned muddy on a banner because I forgot one simple color check
I was at the shop in Boise last Friday reviewing the proof for a 6 foot vinyl banner and the dark blue logo looked almost purple, so I pulled a Pantone bridge guide and realized I'd picked the ink from the screen instead of the book, then swapped to the coated match and it printed clean, but now I'm wondering if anyone else keeps the bridge guide on the desk or just trusts their monitor and hopes for the best?
