My kitchen backsplash looked wrong until I tried a 70/30 paint ratio, then it clicked
I picked a slightly darker teal than the samples showed and grouted white, but the whole wall felt muddy until I re-painted with 70% base color and 30% of the lighter accent I nearly skipped, which fixed the depth issue in an afternoon, so has anyone else salvaged a bad color choice by just adjusting the mix instead of starting over?
