Sat in a Beige Conference Room for 20 Minutes Before I Got Why My Logo Looked Like Mud
I was staring at my new business cards on a beige desk in a beige room, and they looked gray and dirty, even though I picked a nice bright orange. Then it hit me, I had been judging all my colors on a pure white screen, so once they landed on anything warm or dark, they just died. So do you all test your colors on colored backgrounds before you commit, or is that just something I should have known from day one?

Judging colors on white screens... yep, been there, done that, got the muddy logo.
