Serious question, I recolored my whole client roster's invoices after a 2 hour parking lot meeting in Dallas | Color Theory in Practice

I do design work on the side and a print broker in Dallas flagged my invoices for a plumbing company, saying the navy on white made the amount due vanish when clients scanned them on old phones. So I spent a Sunday in the parking lot behind my building with a laptop and swapped every invoice to a warm off white background with a dark green total line, and the client paid in 3 days flat. Now I keep a swatch card taped inside my notebook for every client color so I don't build stuff I can't explain. Does anyone here test their client palettes on a cheap cracked phone screen before sending files out?
