Warning: I hit 60 client color kits saved and number 48 is the one that finally humbled me
I started keeping every paint and swatch combo I built for clients in a folder back in 2019, thinking I was just covering myself, and last week the count hit 60. Number 48 was a whole house in Boise where the client hated the warm beige I picked in my shop but loved that same color once it was on her north-facing walls, which taught me I had been trusting my little sample boards way too much. Has anyone else learned to check a color in the room it is actually going or do you all just get it right the first time?
