Pro tip: swatches beat screen colors every time for my colorblind clients
Last month I did a kitchen repaint in Boise and the couple picked a dark green and a brown that looked the same to me on my laptop screen. I almost bought both cans without thinking twice. Then I pulled out my $15 set of painted paper swatches and held them under their actual kitchen light, and wow, the two colors were way easier to tell apart in person than on a screen. The screen makes colors look flat and too close together, but real paint chips have texture and depth that help. Anyone else keep a physical swatch fan on hand for this kind of thing?
