I alphabetized my long boxes by writer for 3 years and my buddy's 8-year-old broke the news
My buddy's kid was flipping through my Batman shelf in my basement in Akron last Saturday and asked why Grant Morrison was next to Geoff Johns. I told him it was by writer, and he just stared at me and said "but then the story jumps around." Took me a second to get it, and then I felt real dumb because I'd been hunting issues by creator while the reading order was a mess the whole time. Switched to character and story arc that night and already found a chunk of my Snyder run I forgot I owned. How do you all sort yours, and does anyone actually keep it by writer on purpose?
