Update: I quit bagging and boarding after a guy at the Akron show pulled out a box of raw books
For years I bagged and boarded every single book the second it came in the door. Last month at the swap meet in Akron, a guy next to me was flipping through a long box of raw silver age with no bags at all, and he said the plastic does more harm than good if you never swap it out. He showed me a few covers with that wavy ripple from a tight bag sitting in a hot room for years. Now I only bag the stuff worth over $50 and leave the rest loose in the box. Has anyone else gone this route, or am I going to regret this in 10 years?
