Update: My attempt to start a local fan club blew up in my face
I put up flyers at the shop and got a few people interested, but then they all had different ideas about what to do. Now it's just awkward when I see them around, and the whole thing fell apart before it even started.

What did they all want to do that was so different? Like, were people fighting over meeting times, or was it a real clash over what the club was even for? That's usually where it falls apart.
