My old supervisor in Galveston said never trust a diver who brags about bottom time, and I still think that is wrong
A kid on our crew with 2 months in logged more time on the job than anyone that month because he kept his cool and did not fight the current, and the old guys still gave him grief for it. Are we really grading divers on years in the water instead of how they handle the job?
