When our underwater comms picked up a random radio station

We were doing a pipeline check and suddenly heard music through the headsets. It turned out the surface boat's radio was interfering with our gear. What's the best way to shield comms from outside noise?

Your pipeline check turning into a commercial radio show is a new one. Guess they don't make Faraday cages for Top 40 hits.

Actually, I see it differently. Those random radio hits breaking through during a quiet check can be a welcome break from the monotony. Sometimes you need something to cut through the focus, @simonharris, even if it's a cheesy pop song. It reminds you the world outside the data stream is still ticking along. Sure, it's interference, but it's also a human moment in a pretty technical process. I'd take a bad top 40 song over dead silence or just static any day.
