That week in 2019 when I had 3 hard drives die on me in 5 days
I was working out of a shop in Denver and lost a client's wedding photos on a Tuesday, then my own backup drive crapped out Friday. Has anyone else had a run of bad luck like that with drives failing back to back?

My old boss in Phoenix had four drives fail in a single month. It was a perfect storm of a bad power supply and an old batch of drives. Makes you wonder if they were all from the same manufacturing lot, right? That kind of cluster feels like more than just bad luck. I started buying my drives from different stores after hearing that story. The paranoia never really goes away once you've seen it happen.
