A guy on a pour in Boise said my float work was hiding a bad mix, and he was right
We were finishing a 30 by 40 shop slab and he pointed out little dark patches showing up about an hour after my first pass, said that meant the water was too high and no amount of floating would fix it. I cut back on water the next pour and the cream set up way more even. Anybody else catch their mix problems after the fact like that?
