Serious question, has anyone ever had a slab start to rain on them mid-pour?
We were finishing a 30x40 patio in Mesa last Tuesday, about 75% done with the bull float, when a sudden downpour hit out of nowhere. The crew scrambled to pull tarps over it, but we still got about a quarter inch of water on the surface before we could cover it. We had to wait two hours for it to stop, then used a push broom and a shop vac to pull the water off before we could get back on it. What's the fastest way you've found to save a pour when the weather turns like that?

Ugh, that's the worst. Honestly, a good wet-dry vac is the only thing that's ever saved us time. Broom just pushes it around, right?
