Dropped $900 on a ghost hunting kit because of one YouTube video, and I want to warn anyone else who's thinking about it
The "spirit box" is just a broken radio that spits out random static, and the EMF meter goes off near my microwave too, so that $900 went straight in the trash after 2 weeks. Has anyone here actually gotten a real result from this kind of gear, or is the whole paranormal community just selling junk to each other?

Bought a cheap $40 EMF meter off Amazon a few years back and it went nuts every time my fridge kicked on, so I feel you on the junk thing. Half that gear is built to react to normal house stuff and people just want it to mean something. Save your money and borrow a buddy's stuff first before dropping real cash on any of it.
