Overheard two guys at a coffee shop in Austin debating the moon landing audio

I was waiting for my latte last Tuesday and these two guys were arguing about the Apollo 11 transmissions. One said the whole thing was faked because the audio sounded too clear for 1969 technology. I looked it up later and found out the audio was actually recorded on the ground and synced later, not broadcast live. It made me wonder how many other 'proofs' people latch onto are just misunderstandings. Has anyone else stumbled onto a detail that flipped your view on a big conspiracy?

Same thing happened to me with the JFK assassination. Found out the "magic bullet" theory actually had a solid explanation once I read the actual autopsy reports and not just what some documentary claimed. Makes you wonder how many of these things are just people not checking the basics.

That's interesting about the JFK autopsy reports, I never dug into those myself. I watched a documentary once that claimed the "magic bullet" theory was total bunk because the bullet was found practically pristine, which seemed impossible. But then I read somewhere that the bullet actually hit JFK first in the back (not the head, like a lot of people assume) and the trajectory lines up perfectly with the path it took through both men. It's wild how one small detail, like the order of the shots, changes everything.
