The difference between reading a 9/11 conspiracy book and actually watching the NIST footage frame by frame is that one makes you feel smart and the other makes you see the physics.

After spending $30 on a popular 'truther' paperback and then three hours with the free NIST video archive, the controlled demolition theory completely fell apart for me because the sequential collapse pattern just doesn't match a pre-planted explosive sequence, so has anyone else actually done the side-by-side comparison and reached a different conclusion?

My $30 paperweight agrees with you.

Yeah that feeling is the worst, anthony165. Had a similar thing happen with a fancy kitchen gadget that just collects dust now. What finally worked for me was just putting the thing I never use right next to my coffee maker, so I see it every morning and feel guilty enough to actually try it. Took a few weeks but now I use it sometimes. Maybe try leaving your paperweight somewhere you can't ignore it.
