The moment I realized 'conspiracy' doesn't mean 'wrong'
I used to just laugh off any conspiracy theory as crazy talk. Then last year a buddy showed me a 2018 report from the ODNI about UFOs, not the wild internet stuff but an official document. That got me digging into declassified CIA files from the 90s about MKUltra, which blew my mind because it was all real and admitted by the government. Now I sit here wondering if people like me who dismiss everything are just as closed-minded as the people who believe everything. So where's the line for you guys, when does healthy skepticism turn into actual denial of real evidence? Has anyone else had that moment where a theory you mocked turned out to have some official backing?

Right? Nothing like government docs making you rethink your whole "they're all crazy" stance.

Seen plenty of wild claims in those files. Most of it reads like someone trying to justify their paycheck rather than real threats. Doesn't mean every report is wrong, but I wouldn't bet my life on their accuracy either.
