TIL my crew stopped losing 90 minutes a week to tool hunting after we painted every gang box lid orange | Construction Management

I counted it for two weeks on a school job in Fresno and it came out to 90 minutes a week per crew just walking around looking for stuff. Painting the lids orange and putting a small chalkboard list on each one cut it down to about 15 minutes. Has anyone found a better way to track what box a tool belongs in without adding paperwork?
