A guy at the Tucson home show said a 40ft container only gives you about 320 sq ft of actual living space
I was walking the container builds booth at the Tucson home show last Saturday and the guy running it said a 40ft high cube only nets you around 320 usable square feet once you frame out the walls. I always assumed you got the full 320 sq ft of the box itself, but he said the interior framing and insulation eat up 6 to 8 inches on every side. Does that math line up with what you all measured on your own builds?
