Had a customer rip out 40 feet of my fencing because I didn't set the posts deep enough

Are you seriously saying a guy who doesn't even own a shovel was right to micromanage your entire job? Look, I get that your posts haven't sagged in two years, but you could've driven that fence into the ground with rebar and it'd probably still stand in mild weather. Feels more like you gave in to a control freak than you actually learned a better method.

A user with low vision told me my color contrast was a real problem

Stark is a great start, but you really need to test on actual devices too. A simulator can't catch how glare or a cheap screen changes the colors. Why not keep a few old phones around with brightness turned down low? Seeing your own app under bad conditions is the real test.

Warning: The new public library doors in Springfield are a genuine hazard

Our mall in Bakersfield had to add those big yellow warning stickers after a similar door took out a shopper with a stroller.

Update: I used to think the whole '5G causes health issues' thing was total nonsense

Guess my tinfoil hat's on backorder now.

Can we talk about how I thought a 15-minute daily team huddle was a waste of time until our studio in Charlotte tried it for a month and our project handoff errors dropped by like 40%

Totally get that feeling... I fought against writing detailed commit messages for years, calling it busywork. Then we spent two whole days digging because a simple change broke something and the log just said "fixed bug." Now I see those few extra words as a tiny time investment that pays off huge when you're trying to remember why you did something six months later.
